Ya Sahib Uz Zamana…. Peace be upon you….
May Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon You. I know you are alone, exiled, solitary and forlorn. I have been told that you are in Occultation. Indeed you will rise and fill the Earth with justice and Equity. Ya Maula, I wish to witness the day, when all mankind will pay allegiance to you and you will avenge the blood of the martyrs of Karbala. Ya Maula, I have wronged my soul. My deeds move me further away from you. As I juggle different responsibilities and play diverse roles, I tend to forget your presence in my life and my duties towards you. While I prepare for your reappearance, I also need to purify my soul, increase my knowledge to be able to serve my community and thus be among your soldiers, my Imam.
Ya Baqiyatullah, the prolonged duration of your absence has been testing my patience. I pass each day waiting for your reappearance, knowing fully well that my salvation lies in it.
Ya Mehdi (ajtf), your Shia’s are being tested yet again. These are really challenging times for all of us. Each day is a Jihad for us, reinforcing the statement that “Kullu Yaumin Ashura, wa Kullu Ardin Karbala” (Every day is Ashura and every land is Karbala).Be it any domain in life, the struggle is never- ending. The sense of exclusion from you is painful. Had your presence not shielded our being, we would be lost and forgotten long ago. Ya Imam, I pray for your zahoor each day. My sentiments are echoed in the words of Dua e Nudba, wherein I lament and ask if there is a way by which I could meet you, O son of Ahmad! Indeed Allah(swt) asserts unequivocally in the Holy Quran that if He wants something to happen, all he has to do is to say ‘Kun FaYa Kun” (He says ‘Be’ and it is).We pray to him to hasten your reappearance. Amidst the Pandemic and now as we witness a War being raged, we know that the continuation of the existence of the creation depends on your existence. Maula, please safeguard the ummah around the globe. Grant to me your marefat, your qurbat and make me capable of being called your Shia. Increase in me the quest to pursue knowledge and the thirst to excel in all domains of life. Bestow us with guidance, righteousness and chastity. May my deeds bring me closer to you my Imaam. May Allah swt increase your love in my heart and in my progeny till the Day of Judgment.
